Footy Tipping the Way It Should Be

Footy tipping competitions are usually conducted as an 'every man for themselves' concept… how often do you see players drop their interest after a couple of bad rounds?

We've come up with a Head2Head format which keeps people interested and in the mix for the whole season — even if you have a couple of bad rounds along the way.

About H2H

Footy tipping competitions are usually conducted as an 'every man for themselves' concept. Your individual score, matched against everyone else's scores across the entire season. It's a simple concept really — but how often do you see players drop their interest after a couple of bad rounds?

It's pretty common that you end up with only a few players in your entire field with a realistic chance of winning when it gets to the pointy end of the season — and for everyone else in the competition, they become passengers as they realise they can't catch the front runners.

We have endeavoured to change this concept, and have come up with a Head2Head format which keeps people interested and in the mix for the whole season even if you have a couple of bad rounds along the way.

How It Works

The Format

Each Head2Head tipping fixture is played out over the entire course of the nominated round of fixtures — with the player selecting the most correct tips taking the win and the competition points.

The Finals

Depending on the number of players, and the format of the Head2Head competition, we will conduct our own finals series to determine an overall winner.
